Sky Tube Installation

Sky Tube Installation

Our guest suite’s bathroom is about to have a little more light now that the sky tube is installed. A sky tube is similar to a sky light, in the fact that it is a hole in your roof that allows light in. The difference is that a sky tube acts like a mirror, channeling light along it’s entire length (which, in some cases, can be 21 feet long). A diffuser at the end of the sky tube, in the ceiling of the room, disperses the light more evenly than a normal sky light would. Another cool feature? A sky tube is insulated! This means that in the winter, they lose a lot less heat than a normal sky light, making them a more cost effective option.
