Brook has been the President of Gardner/Fox Associates since he co-founded the company in 1987
and currently manages the Commercial Division of Gardner/Fox. Prior to starting Gardner/Fox,
Brook spent 2 years with Historic Landmarks for Living, 5 years with the US Navy and 2 years
with Procter & Gamble.
The Historic Landmarks experience involved project managing the conversion of historically
certified buildings into upscale apartment complexes with project sizes between $15 and $20
Million. With the US Navy, Brook was a construction manager overseeing construction projects
at various naval facilities on the East Coast; and with Procter & Gamble, Brook was a building
design engineer in their Cincinnati corporate offices.
Brook received his BS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and is a licensed engineer in
Pennsylvania.
Mark Fox
Mark co-founded Gardner/Fox Associates in 1987 and has been the company's Vice President since
the company's inception. Mark manages the Residential Division of Gardner/Fox.
Prior to co-founding Gardner/Fox, Mark was a Project Architect for 2 years with Historic Landmarks
for Living which specialized in historic property preservation and reuse. Mark also spent 3
years as a Project Architect for GBQC Architects, a Philadelphia based architectural design firm.
Mark earned a Bachelor's of Architecture degree from the University of Kentucky and is a registered
architect in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
