Classic & Casual Kitchen Renovation
Media, PA
Using the space formerly occupied by the family room, Gardner/Fox removed an interior wall to double the size of the existing kitchen. The expanded kitchen accommodates a large central island, white cabinetry, semi-professional appliances, oak flooring, and a casual breakfast area. The aforementioned family room found a new home in a seldom-used screened in porch that was enclosed with fantastic new windows.
Classic Farmhouse Kitchen
Main Line, PA
Removing a peninsula of cabinets opened up the floor plan to the dining area, making the room feel much more spacious and functional. The outdated wood cabinetry was nixed in favor of an all-white color palette, from the brand new overhead cabinetry to the built-in refrigerator and subway tile backsplash. The star of the show is an 86″ Lacanche Range in French blue. The hand painted ceramic tile back splash contains the accent blue, pulling the whole kitchen together and creating a rich vintage look.
Sophisticated Gray Kitchen Renovation
Philadelphia, PA
Gray may be a bit of an unconventional choice for the color scheme of a kitchen, but this white and soft-gray kitchen manages to exude both elegance and tradition. The basic palette plays well with the kitchen's moderate footprint while floor to ceiling cabinetry maximizes the storage quotient.

Today's Classic White Kitchen
Bryn Mawr, PA
The undersized kitchen in this Main Line home was in desperate need of a makeover. The architect reconfigured the floorplan and added an 8’ x 21’ addition to make room for a breakfast nook and large central island with ample seating. Crisp white cabinetry, grey marble countertops and white oak flooring combine to create a sophisticated yet relaxed kitchen fit for a young family. A new mudroom and powder room are conveniently located next to the renovated kitchen.

The renovated interior incorporates energy efficient appliances, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and new recessed lighting fixtures utilizing CFL & LED lamps.
Bright and Charming Kitchen Renovation
Main Line, PA
Before the renovation, a peninsula separated the kitchen and breakfast room, making both rooms feel smaller. The peninsula was removed and a central island installed instead. The resulting space feels much more spacious, even though the square footage remains the same. Creamy new cabinets, granite countertops, a paneled refrigerator and glass globe pendants polish off the kitchen with modern-day style.
Bright and Welcoming Kitchen Renovation
Main Line, PA
The dated L-shaped kitchen lacked proper storage. During the renovation, a few walls were removed and powder room relocated to create an open floorplan. The new U-shaped kitchens offers a more spacious dining and cooking area with a center island and attractive finishes. White cabinets replaced dark and dated wood for a bright and welcoming effect. Stainless steel accents lend an industrial edge while classic architectural details keep it grounded in tradition.
Functional & Fashionable Gray Kitchen
Philadelphia, PA
Before the renovation, the kitchen was located at the rear of the home with the family room in the large front space. The architect reconfigured the floorplan to move the kitchen to the front. Swapping the spaces accommodates a more functional workspace in the kitchen complete with an island and dining area. Pale gray cabinets paired with a stacked stone backsplash and stormy gray quartz countertops give the kitchen a modern edge.
Charming White Kitchen Renovation
