As we’ll all be gathered around the kitchen tomorrow, we chose a quick kitchen and breakfast room renovation for 1990’s project! In this home renovation, Gardner/Fox redesigned a kitchen and converted an existing porch to a breakfast room. The 1940’s colonial style home needed a few updates, so the kitchen received custom birch cabinetry with butcher block countertops, as well as new flooring and lighting. The new breakfast room also received built-in cabinetry, as well as new windows and doors. To replace the porch, Gardner/Fox constructed a new cedar deck outside of the breakfast room, so there was still plenty of outside space for the homeowners.
