In 2010 Gardner/Fox and Stimmel Consulting Group worked together to turn this 300 year old home’s ballroom into a one-of-a-kind kitchen masterpiece!
The original space was dark and closed off, with an almost non-existent plaster ceiling. The solution: custom coffers and multistage crown molding which held lighting that indirectly illuminated the space and showcased the millwork and the intricate details. The white Carrera marble backsplash gives the kitchen an even brighter look. The space was decked with floor to ceiling white cabinetry, the whole 12 feet. A track and rolling ladder were installed to give the kitchen another original feature. Check out more of this glorious renovation on houzz.
