In 2012 Gardner/Fox completed renovations and updates to an existing pool house in Malvern! Originally, the existing pool house was an unfortunate eyesore on an exquisite property. Our client wanted to build something that really complemented the main house, which was only a couple hundred feet away. Additionally, the original pool house was not meeting the home owners needs as a gathering place for their family of six, or as an entertainment area for friends.

The homeowner wanted the design of the pool house to compliment their colonial farmhouse, therefore the structure included sliding barn doors on the front and rear, as well as matching the stone veneer used to build their actual home.

The interior of the pool house creates a warm and inviting space, perfect for entertaining guest, or just eating a casual dinner during the week. The pool house includes a grilling station with storage, full bathroom with washer and dryer, central seating area, and a grand stone hearth that scales the entire length of the vaulted ceiling.
