Thanks to the generous help and support of the community, the Washington Fire Company No. 1 of Conshohocken has finally been able to accomplish their goal of setting up a 9/11 Memorial.
On July 29th, Gardner/Fox broke ground on the memorial site which is adjacent to the Firehouse at the corner of West Elm and Forrest Street in Conshohocken. The monument’s highlight, a relic from the North Tower, is approximately 18″ tall and weighs over 200 pounds! Construction is scheduled for completion by Jan 1st.
