Last week we attended the 2016 AIA Convention in Philadelphia. During the 4-day convention, Philadelphia hosted over 20,000 architects from all over the world. The convention boasted over 800 exhibitors and over 500 educational seminars.
There was a lot happening at the convention! We attended seminars on lighting, paint products, BIM and Net-Positive building design, and one of our senior architect, Jeff Snyder led a tour to the Morris Arboretum. On the floor, some of the most interesting items we came across were the new lighting and building envelope products. Even the Bacon Brothers stopped by on Friday night to entertain.
We’re so glad we were able to participate in this educational event and bring so much back to Gardner/Fox with them! Thanks to AIA Philadelphia for organizing the convention.
