After Renovation: The kitchen has been modernized with stainless steel appliances, white glass-front cabinetry, black granite counter tops , and creamy and earth-toned backsplash tiles.

Before Renovation: The dated kitchen was crammed into a corner.

The doorway from the kitchen to the mudroom was moved to the opposite side. The entire kitchen was basically flip-flopped. The sink was moved under the window, a more traditional location.

Before the renovation, the small kitchen was secluded from the rest of the living area. Knocking down part of the wall of the living room and dining room created a more open floor plan.
