Bryn Mawr, PA – Before the renovation, a peninsula jutted in the kitchen at an awkward angle, separating the kitchen from the breakfast room and giving it a contemporary feel. The angled peninsula was removed to unite the kitchen and breakfast room. A large wooden island with built in seating was added in its place along with room-brightening white cabinetry. Brand new hardwood floors replaced dated tiles to create a sophisticated transitional kitchen.
