The client of this home wanted to build on an addition that identically matched the style of the original home, and Gardner/Fox delivered. The 3 car garage addition was attached to the home through a series of renovated and newly constructed porches. Gardner/Fox also constructed an entire hall made of bricks. The new family room included a vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace, which was constructed using stone from the original demolition of the home. The new porch had retractable screens to adjust seasonally. The pool deck was completely redesigned, using the flagstone to match the home. Gardner/Fox also installed lanterns around the pool deck and driveway to imitate the lanterns on the porch of the home. The entire driveway was demolished and repaved around the opposite side of the home to create an easy pathway from the pool to the house.
