For January’s employee spotlight, we’ve left the office and moved to the front lines!

Matt Deblaay has been a valuable member of our team of residential field superintendents for two years. Having owned his own construction company, and worked as a sales representative for Conrad corporations, Matt joined Gardner/Fox with a unique combination of construction knowledge and interpersonal skills.

Though he has worked on numerous projects for Gardner/Fox, Matt indicated that his favorite project was the Coblitz home in Wayne, PA. He appreciated the uniqueness of the home, and the variety of challenging elements involved in the project as a whole.

Matt and his wife have a lovely family, two sons and two daughters, all under the age of 10! When he is not building dream homes, Matt can be found playing soccer, fishing, hunting, and volunteering with his church or with his son’s soccer team. One interesting fact he would like everyone to know: he played hockey while attending college in Northern Wisconsin. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication Matt!
