We are once again showing our appreciation to our amazing staff at Gardner/Fox by choosing Patrick Baker for our Employee Spotlight!
Pat has been with Gardner/Fox for the past 23 years. Prior to that he worked as the commercial carpentry foreman for W.T. Stocom and Sons. He also used to work as a draftsman in electrical circuit design as well as a field clerk for United Engineers and Constructors, so needless to say, Pat is the man to handle just about any project we throw at him.
At Gardner/Fox he handles all of the major commercial projects that come through our doors. He spearheads our commercial estimating team, and finalizes all bids that we send out, from 2,000 square foot office fit outs to 53,000 square foot laboratories.
When he is not at Gardner/Fox, Pat can be found spending time with his family. He and his wife have 8 children and 4 grandchildren. His family is spread out across the country, but interestingly enough, he sees at least one of his many children every day; his daughter Joanna works with him as a commercial estimator right here at Gardner/Fox.
Aside from traveling to see his children, Pat enjoys boating, skiing, and snow boarding. Pat and his family are active members at Vineyard Community Church, and he also mentors at a local robotics club!
We asked Pat if he had any fun plans for the Holiday’s, and he told us they are always fun! All of his family will be coming in visit and they hope to sneak in a ski trip at some point.
Pat, we appreciate all that you do for us, and all that you have done for the past 23 years, we wouldn’t be where we are without you!
