Happy Spring! Now that we’re seeing the light at the end of the winter tunnel, we’d like to turn it to one of our employees! For March, we’d like to present Mr. Robert Dunner!
Robert has been a part of the GFA crew for two and half years now, as a superintendent. Prior to that, he owned his own design/build company in Santa Fe, New Mexico, specializing in LEED certified and passive solar homes. His extensive knowledge of home building and vast experience made him the perfect candidate for our residential construction team. He recently switched over to our commercial team, to work at our beautiful Stoneleigh Project. The versatility he has displayed in the switch between the residential and commercial construction worlds has proven what an asset he is at Gardner/Fox.
Speaking of Stoneleigh, he told us that it has been his favorite project so far! In fact, he said, “We are helping to transition a beautiful estate into a public garden in Villanova. The project is diverse in scope and the setting is beautiful. I’m also looking forward to sharing our work with my family and friends.”
In his downtime, Robert loves to spend time with his wife, Anna, and their wonderful son and daughter. Additional, he spends his time serving within his church community, and hanging out with his friends and neighbors. If there is time left over, he enjoys reading and working the wood shop, a true craftsman! One fact that he would like everyone to know, he used to be a high school History and Philosophy teacher. Talk about a career change! Thank you for everything you do Robert, and keep up the awesome work!
