We’re very proud to announce that we’ve placed second in the Traditional Kitchen category of Sub-Zero and Wolf’s Kitchen Design competition for 2017! Although they have not yet announced the winners, we would like to give you a sneak peek at our award winning kitchen!
Welcome to our historic Main Line kitchen renovation. This home, originally built as a dormitory for the nearby Valley Forge Military Academy in 1921, needed an upgrade for its small and closed off kitchen. Gardner/Fox created an open floor plan concept, creating an all in one kitchen and dining room.
This traditional beauty received all new white cabinetry with marble counter tops and back splashes. The custom island is topped with a hearty butchers block, which accentuates the wide oak plank hardwood flooring. A custom built overlay was designed for the newly installed Sub-Zero refrigerator, creating a seamless wall of cabinetry, to complete the kitchen’s clean and classic look.
We’re so proud of this project and to the team involved. To see more images on our Houzz, click here.
