In total, the 43,000 square foot renovation included work on 6 floors, 240 rooms, and 4 elevator lobbies. All the while, daily hotel operations continued as usual and guests were free to enjoy their stay in University City. The project followed a meticulous and rigorous schedule, which was executed seamlessly. Working closely with the architect during the design phase facilitated quick decision-making. In the end, each room received upgraded finishes, including new flooring, lighting, paint, signage, and electrical work. New high traffic carpet, wall coverings, and over 100 sconces on each floor refreshed the hotel’s corridors. Uniquely designed elevator lobbies feature beautiful hand rubbed bronze chandeliers.
