No matter how good the builder is, how well they protect finished spaces, or how well they clean up the jobsite, dust will travel to places you don’t want it. Get mentally prepared for it and do your best to protect your possessions. Move personal items out of work areas, pack away valuables, and avoid constant trips to and from work areas to the rest of your house.
