One of our favorite residential remodeling websites, houzz.com, has started to accumulate cost statistics for remodeling projects. While we applaud the effort, we think it’s only good for giving homeowners a very general idea of what they can expect when facing a remodeling project. Remodeling projects are so unique and custom that making generalizations about what you can expect to pay for your own project remains a challenge.  The best way to find out what a project is going to cost is still the old fashioned way, ask a qualified professional (like us!) to come to your house and talk with you about exactly what you want to accomplish.
