Swarthmore, Pennsylvania – The Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility, now located on Whittier Place, prepares students for leadership in civic engagement, public service, advocacy and social action and houses meeting space for campus and community groups as well as a student resource room and offices for Lang Center staff.

The Gardner/Fox renovation effort consisted of structural alterations to the facility and the addition of two new entrance vestibules. The installation of new finishes throughout refreshed the Center’s overall appearance. Mechanical upgrades included a new fire sprinkler system, updated HVAC with a Building Automation System, and new water and sanitary services. The completion of site improvements such as new walkways, railings, and exterior grading meets ADA compliance standards.
