You never know what you’ll find during the demo stage of a renovation! Here we have a classic construction flubber. Good ol’ Sam is rather amused by this, but for those of us who are not construction experts here’s what we’re seeing.

The black pipe on the right runs vertically through the roof – it’s the roof drain. That pipe connects to the white pipe which goes down, then horizontal – then back up. The trouble is that water wants to flow downhill, right? Not good for a drainage pipe that relies on gravity! #whoops #wedoitbetter #constructionGeek
