This month Gardner/Fox completed renovations to Audi Wilmington, a 25,000 sq. ft. dealership in Wilmington, DE. The renovations focused on both the interior and exterior of the facility, as well as the new construction of a service drive.

The renovations began with updates to the interior of the dealership. Gardner/Fox removed a small room at the front of the facility and relocated a set of stairs located behind the reception desk that lead to the vehicle parts storage area.

Before the Renovation:

All of the facilities’ finishes were upgraded, including the showroom, to match the modern, sleek style of Audi. New flooring, lighting, ceilings, and furniture all work together to offer customers a better overall experience.

After the Renovation:

The service reception area, which was originally located at the back of the facility, was moved to the front and upgraded to match the other aesthetic changes in the dealership. A newly added feature that will make Audi Wilmington’s customers’ experience that much better is the newly built covered service drive. This new addition allows customers to drop-off their vehicles for maintenance in comfort inside the facility without subjecting them to the elements.

Back in the showroom, the sales center received all new desks and finishes to match the facility’s updated look. In place of glass windows, the sales offices were updated to include sleek, full glass walls.

Moving the service reception and parts counter to the front of the dealership left extended space to expand the customer boutique and Audi Sport area. The larger space provides customers with more ways to accessories and upgrade their ride and their wardrobes, and take a look at how to take their ride to the next level with Audi Racing.

In addition to these two spaces, the customer cafe area was upgraded to blend with the dealership’s new look and offer customers upgraded amenities.

In the service department, Gardner/Fox upgraded the facilities finishes and equipment, including the installation of new lifts and highspeed garage doors, to assure they are providing the top of the line service that the Audi brand is known for.

Outside of the dealership, the newly installed facade makes a lasting impression on passers-by, while the new glass storefront offers views of the current showroom inventory.
